Mural 648, Medium: pigmented inks, the panels are printed on quality
fine art paper. Method:
The mural contains 144 images taken with a 35mm digital camera. It has
been created using 12 panels, each panel is 47x54 inches in scale at
300DPI and contains 12 individual images. None
of these images have been computer manipulated, they are wholly intact
and as taken, nothing has been cropped, twisted, or distorted by a computer.
Image creation occurs in how the individual photos have been hand assembled
in a mock up mural creation step; the computer is then used to assemble
the chosen images into their respective twelve panels and then blend
the multi-photos together, by "erasing" the numerous image
edge seams.
Rather than just capturing still landscape images this series penetrates
beneath the surface of visible materiality by seeing that which is not
bounded by time or space to create a new dimension that can only be
grasped by intuitive InSight. |
