The face image was taken using 8"x10" transparency film in Calcutta (Kolkata) during the 1993 Kail Puja (festival). It's the face of one of Kali's many Yoginies (helpers and Goddesses in their own right).

The landscape image of pond side cracked mud was taken in Canada, close by my studio in the latter part of the 1990s. They were combined in layers and have been blended together using layers blending options.
