The face image was taken using 8"x10" transparency film in Calcutta (Kolkata) during the 1993 Kail Puja (festival). It's the face of one of Kali's many Yoginies (helpers and Goddesses in their own right).

The landscape image was taken in Canada, not far from my studio in the latter part of the 1990s. The images were combined in layers and have been blended together using the layers blending options.
