The face image was taken using 8"x10" transparency film in Calcutta (Kolkata) during the 1993 Kail Puja (festival). It's the face of one of Kali's many Yoginies (helpers and Goddesses in their own right).

The landscape image was taken in Canada on 8"x10" transparency film , in the mid 1990s and is just an image of tree and sky. The images were combined in layers and have been blended together using layers blending options.
